Miss Adelaide will be there of course, because everyone wants to see her dance and listen to her sing. People like to listen to me dance and watch me sing too, but that's because there is a streak of cruelty in the kindest people. I intend to play my saxophone too, if it doesn't shrink when Miss Adelaide waters the vegetables with it. And the flute too, if she doesn't put a spell on it when she thinks she's the Spring Fairy.
Sue likes playing at Box Hill too because there is a nice piano there, and she can make it roar like a lion in the jungle or chime like fairy bells. I always love it when Sue plays her special piano music. So does Miss Adelaide because she always does a ballet to it.
And Margaret will play the violin of course-it's what she does. Do you remember when she played two notes at a time, then three and four? And how upset I got when I just wanted a quiet life? Well, when she was little, Margaret just wanted to play the violin on two strings so much that she practised and practised and practised. Everyone else in the house quietly moved to other, far off rooms. Then her faithful doggie came in and gently bit her. It was his way of saying "Very good, but I think that's quite enough for the moment. Everyone else loves it in the shows though and so Margaret just keeps on doing it.

And the young gentleman? I suppose you mean Adelaide's brother, Dominic. Well, he not only plays the guitar, but writes songs too. Maybe he and Adelaide could sing a new song. Maybe they could sing my new song about food. It's called "Rubbish In, Rubbish Out". TO TOP
